Top-notch professional instruction, safe and reliable lesson horses, great people, etc. But there's another reason — our tremendous, 15-acre, partially Amish-built facility. We've taken great care to create a warm, welcoming environment for you and your family to practice your equestrian endeavors.

First and foremost there's the 20,744-square foot covered riding arena. Spacious and bright, our beautiful ring allows you to experience that special feeling of riding outdoors while keeping you safe from the elements. Our horses love the footing, and so will you, as you trot around amidst the beauty of the lush trees surrounding the barn. Lakeside also boasts a 9,500-square foot outdoor riding arena.

Oh, and did we mention we're located adjacent to Lake Norman and Lake Norman State Park, where you can enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, camping and other great family activities? You can get your ride in and experience some great family fun, too!

We've also taken great care to ensure that our equine friends — our awesome lesson horses — receive the best in accommodations. Twelve spacious, efficient and safety-conscious stalls allow them the perfect place to unwind and relax after the hard work of carrying our riders to their dreams. Just like the horses need a place to unwind, so do our riders and their families. For that, we have a comfortable lounge with plenty of seating and table space, refrigerator and kitchen area.
